Had a fab stay, especially chuffed with the powerful blue shower! The staff were lovely and even catered to my food allergy with special treats. Plus, the hotel had a cozy bar ambiance to unwind after a day exploring Monmouth.
If I had to be picky, the bathroom could do with a deep clean to chase away any mouldy odors. But really, nothing else dampened the vibe!

had a great time at the mayhill hotel! staff were super friendly, and they even catered to my food allergy with some special treats which was realy nice. the blue shower in our room was lovly and had a powerful spray, definetly a highlight for me. the room was clean, comfy and well decorated. the location is perfect, close to the centre of monmouth!
the only downside was the parking can get a little tight if the hotel is busy. also, the bar area could use more variety in drinks.

Wi-Fi worked well, and staff were friendly. room lacked a flat-screen TV.

The bathroom had a mild mouldy smell that lingered if the door was left open, which could be off-putting. The decor in the room felt a bit dated, and there were no wardrobe facilities, just hooks and hangers that didn’t suffice for a longer stay. the bar lacked an inviting atmosphere, mainly populated by loud locals, and it would have been a bonus if the hotel offered evening meals.
